While you were either sleeping or out having a good time last night, Phoenix was killing their performances on SNL! The sound was great on both "Lisztomania" and "1901," the two opening tracks off their new album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. Oh yeah, and Seth Rogen is skinny now. It's weird. So there you go... you're caught up on SNL.

I only saw "Lisztomania," but it didn't really sound "live." Any thoughts on that, GSATW?
ReplyDeleteReally? I think it definitely sounds live. It's really clean, but I hear enough abnormalities in vocals and guitar that make me think this isn't a recording. Interesting thought though... anything's possible I guess.
ReplyDeleteI love their song If I Ever Feel Better, but have never heard anything else of theirs. If they ever come to Atlanta, we should go.
